Premium Editing

What is "premium editing" and why does it cost more?

Premium editing involves a number of items, including blending multiple photographs using a flash composite technique (read more about this below), removing unwanted items from the scene using Photoshop, editing in light for fixtures with dead lightbulbs, and so forth. These items add a significant amount of time to the editing process.

What is flash composite photography?

The best way to represent the true colors along with the feel of the actual ambient lighting in an interior room is to combine both artificial (flash) lighting as well as the ambient light available in the room through windows, lamps, and light fixtures.

The example below shows the difference between a photo taken using only the ambient lighting in the room versus using a flash composite (or flash + ambient technique). Use the slider to see the difference!

Why not just use only flash lighting?

Some real estate photographers do employ a technique using just one flash and one photograph to complete their images. However, we believe that the resulting image is not nearly as attractive.
